how long to wait for Assessors report

how long to wait for Assessors report was created by lizzie_wa
Could anyone tell me how long it takes the DWP to send out an Assessors report.I telephoned the DWP on 13th September for a copy of my Assessors report '(Assessment 6th September). They said they would send it out, but over two weeks later and nothing has arrived. I have rang the DWP again, they confirmed they received it from the Assessor on 8th Sept and as yet no decision has been made. They waffled on and could not tell me if my copy of the Assessors report had been sent out or not. I have concerns about my Assessment (Assessor could not possibly have got an accurate picture and spent the entire time looking at his laptop) and would like the report as soon as I can to prepare for the next step

It's normally 7-10 days so I would chase them about it.

I have chased them a couple of times, it is now almost three weeks since my request for the report. They wont tell me if it has been sent out, but do say it is marked on their system I requested the assessors report on the 13th. I am wondering if it is because no decision has been made yet? I would add I followed my telephone request up with a written request.

If it was for ESA then they won't send the report until the Decision is made.
If it is for PIP then then the vast majority of offices will send the report when asked, but we do know of at least one office (location unknown), that will not send the report until a Decision is made.

Its for PIP, it is almost a month now, so sending off another letter (ringing them has got me nowehere) which I will send recorded delivery/

Hi,
I applied for mine yesterday and was advised of the following:
If the medical report was just a factual one then I would receive it between 5 to 16 working days.
However if the medical report had assessor opinions on the point scores then the assessment would be sent out 3 working days after the decision had been sent out.
In my are this is 8 to 12 weeks, just in time for christmas.
