Just a wonderful day really coupled with being kept up all night until 8am by partying neighbour from hell!

Have you already rearranged the appointment? You should be allowed to move the appointment once without it causing any problem.

He said that he wasn't comfortable as I go to the surgery and even though I go with my housemate, my GP said that not having somebody to go with me to Atos is not good enough reason to request a home visit. I'm not home bound etc. He was patronizing and rude.

Tried to rearrange the appointment, but Atos said because it is me who has already rearranged once before (manly due requesting a home visit and distance of initial assessment centre) I would be referred back to DWP and that could affect my current DLA. So they won't give me a home visit, my GP won't help and I have to go alone to rearranged assessment centre.

I assume that your mother can't attend on the current date, could someone else go with you; another relative or a friend, they don't have to actually go into the room with you unless you want them there.

My housemate is working, I'll try my sister. My GP did not care one iota when I explained my many diagnosed issues. He said if I 'want' benefits I'll have to go there. Such rudeness. Thank you for listening by the way.

Should I mention in my assessment that I am in ESA Support Group? Does being already in that group help in anyway to being transferred from DLA to PIP? I'm on low rate both components on DLA, I am not looking to get medium or high rates, just what I have been getting for DLA.
