My DLA was due to change to PIP in December 2014. I received forms Spring of that year, I jumped through all the hoops, forms telephone interview, face to face with Capita. It took 10 months but I got enhanced payments for both mobility and care, for 3 yrs to December 2017. However I got review forms just before Christmas 2016. So I filled them in my condition had worsened since 2014 and said so. In March this year I had a home assessment by Capita. The health care proffesstional was abrupt, unfriendly and asked the same questions over and over and didn't appear to listen to a word I said. It's now May 10th and I am waiting for my decision yet again, and my first decision was awarded until December. My point is, you can't take it for granted that you are safe for 3 or whatever years they award. I now feel totally stressed and am worrying that I will have to appeal if my award is wiped out or lowered. My peace of mind is utterly shattered, even though my health has significantly worsened. I suffer from 2 types of arthritis polymiallgia, fibromyalgia etc and I am a wheelchair user. Why are disabled and vulnerable people treated so Shabbily in the 21st century? When I get my brown envelope I will post again. Good luck to others out there and keep on fighting, I intend to. LoveXX

I would have expected you to have had a Decision by now so you might want to check with the DWP if one has been made.

I agree, I said the same as you. Your award is not really for the X amount of years they say. Plus this tribunal preparing has stressed me out so much I am bleeding daily with it :( They have no idea or do not care.
