? only one criteria. I thought I understood the process, but points are not accumulative? One has to have 12 in one criteria???

Sorry been in the PIP form struggle far too long. Hastily looking around.

No, it is not in one activity.

You need to score a minimum of 8 points across the ten Daily Living activities for a Standard award or 12 points for an Enhanced one and 8 or 12 points across the two Mobility activities for a Standard or Enhanced award.

hello again....... sorry struggling to custom to the style in here....

I do not know if I did not cut and past the link to the waver to record interview/ assessments that the gov uses or no? Here is what they abide by as far as I know.

www.gov.uk/government/publications/work-...ace-assessments-faqs

I hope to modify a very similar one and ask to record for my own purposes at my home assessment, my GP is requesting.

The link you have posted is for ESA Claim only, recording facilities are not provided by either of the PIP Assessment Providers, this must be provided by the claimant, although permission is still required and specific equipment must be used to make the recording.

thank you,

my concern was to in anyway both retain all exact details as a factual record, while complying with the same sort of legal permission to allow recording, they would use in reverse in what ever circumstance.

I do understand this would be contingent on using my own ability to record via a app on my systems.

My main concern is if any such suggestion puts them off or gets their back up before we even start. It will need to be handled delicately.

the more I read through the very valuable info in here.... the more I am keen to gather resources as much as I can prepare and hope they are not useful.

To be allowed to make a recording of a PIP assessment you will need to be able to make two simultaneous recordings direct to tape of CD, you cannot make a digital recording.

I believe I understand what you have described Gordon, thank you for the detail that seems very necessary. I am keen to cover the bases, but smoothly without angst for anyone. Know the facts and behaving kindly is my goal, while staying on top of my own information and how it may need to be referred to eventually.

Would it be possible for you to link me to where this conditions of recording an assessment if officially described, so I can both read it carefully and 'cover myself' to anyone I am asking to cooperate by having the facts in hand. I assume this request will catch who ever off guard and be unusual.

I understand that there needs to be two recordings. But I assume as long as the criteria is meant they do not need to be the exact same medium used to record.

Is digital hard drive (storage) moved to CD acceptable? As in two transferred copies written to disk immediately following recording?

Direct recording to CD, (if possible) is ok?

Mobile phone, or tablet recording via applications to cloud storage presumably is not permissible.

'Old Fashion' I think called magnetic tape of any kind is expected?

The need for two exact copies I think you meant simultaneous recordings...does that include offering the second real time item to the person who gives their permission?

I expect the issue is the dependability of the two copies be unalterable, is at the heart of the acceptable legality?

BTY I am happy to get these ans out of reading any link you can provide me first and then reask any of these I remain unclear about.

Being a newbie you seem to have a lot of folks who need to ask for your support. I am a long way from needing to do this as my form is just going in this wk.
