PIP ask for re assessment before review date

Has anyone asked for a review - change of circumstances before their review date? originally I was reassessed from a 2 year DLA award having high mob middle care and now get low mobility middle care.
Basically I am on a new chemotherapy drug which is a trial -to halt a tumour growth. its an extremely rare tumour and it cannot be surgically removed due to this being the 4th tumour now.
I have developed depression and battled this for a year now and it has taken over my life. more so than my treatment. I have leg and hip pain and on heavy pain killers
I travel to a specialist unit for treatment every 4 weeks. being hit with depression is the worst thing that I could have had and with my prognosis looking like long term chemo now I only feel I should be on high mobility as I am not improving only getting worse with arthritis and risk of fracture on mobilising etc.

I'm worried that I'm jeopardising what I have by putting in a change of circumstances? if my oncologist gave support will have to go through the whole process again as I'm having panic attacks as it is and I am awaiting counselling as my doctor says this mental stuff has all happened from having such a bad diagnosis so young in life.

Would really appreciate some advice.

thankyou

The most important question you need to ask yourself is whether you limitations, as they are now, score the extra points you need for a higher award?

You will also need to show that you have had this level of limitation for three months and can reasonably be expected to last for another nine months.

If you think that you can show that you meet the criteria for an Enhance Mobility award, then you can notify the DWP in writing that your conditions have deteriorated. This will initiate a full reassessment of your claim, a new PIP2 and almost certainly a new face to face assessment.

Be aware there will be a new Decision which can make any award or not that the Decision Maker believes to be correct.
