Yes, we have given up trying to guess the outcome of assessments for the reasons Benson states.

Hi Susy I had my first ESA F2F in June 2016 & I too was asked to wait while she phoned someone.. The outcome however was I was placed into the support group for 1 year... In Feb of this year I was sent a reassessment form which I filled in & sent back & now 32 weeks later I'm still waiting on word of whether I'm to go for another F2F or whether a paper based assessment will be done...I phoned the DWP but waited hours trying to get through so I phoned Maximus who said I would be contacted at a later date... All this uncertainty added more anxiety to my mental health problems.. There seems to be no rhyme or reason in the DWP's thinking at times... I know there's long delays in processing claims & as I live in Scotland it's probably going to get longer... Hopefully you'll get a good result from them & by this time next year I'll be retired so won't qualify for their benefit anyway .... Good luck

Hi John

Thank you for your reply.

Well I had a letter from dwp 9 days after my assessment to tell me I have been put in support group. I wasn't given a review date. I was sorry to read about your experience. The government haven't got a clue how it feels to be so ill and have all the anxiety etc waiting for them to make contact.

I am in two minds about what I shall do about my pip. At the minute I am getting the basic amount. If I ask for a reassessment will that mean another face to face examination? I can't go through that again.

I have another six years of this.

Yes, new claim form and almost certainly another F2F. Be very sure that you would score the extra points that you would need for a higher award before notifying the DWP.
