LOL

If I kick up a stink though will it risk my benefits?

Also, just thinking, can the decision be reversed once I've had the reward letter?

I got standard mobility because of what she basically made up. Not something I said. If I discredited the report they may put me back on DLA and give me another assessment and this time they may give me even less. As I said I only scraped in on 8. This is my first ever out sourced assessment, all the ones I had before have been done by real doctors even if some where employed by the DHSS. I'll know what to expect in the future.

Thinking about it a bit more I've been a lot luckier than many others and as all my conditions are invisible I "don't look disabled". So I am quite lucky to have got anything. Not even sure if it is a good idea to send it to my MP. I may just keep it to remind me of what to expect in the future. I thank you for all your help anyway. You never know we might even have a new government by 2022 who are a little bit more humane in their treatment of certain groups and respect their human rights.

Bruce

A complaint to the Assessment Provider has the potential, although extremely rare. for the report to be withdrawn and a new assessment ordered, this could lead to the Decision being revised.

A complaint to the assessors professional body is wholly separate from your PIP claim and does not involve the DWP or the Assessment Provider

I'm merely providing information, please be comfortable with what you do or don't and don't feel pressured to make a complaint if it is not right for you to do so.

Cheers

I found her reg number and everything. But I think I'll probably leave it, and except the results. In the end, however they reached the decision, and on what evidence, at least they have accepted there is something wrong with me. I can probably find a car (albeit a few years old) and run it still. I'll also know what to expect when I have to go for another assessment. Good job there are so many covert surveillance tools out there.

An update. Now it has all come out in the wash. Although I will lose my mobility car and access to the scheme, with pension credits etc. we won't be any worse off financially and have set the wheels in motion so we will be able to stay Mobil. At worst we may be without transport for a month or so and may have to use taxis.

As I said before I am loth to let them get away with the untruths but one has to look at the bigger picture. As I said earlier we know many others who are in a fare fare worse situation because of the actions of this government.
