TOPIC: Face To Face Interview Attendance

Face To Face Interview Attendance 4 months 2 weeks ago #209763

Would anybody be able to advise on the procedure around attending a Face To Face Interview?

I am about to submit my PIP form and assume I will be asked to attend an interview at some time in the future.

Do the DWP revert with a specific tiime, date and place of attendance for the interview?

What is the procedure if there are dates that I know I will not be able to attend?

Do I inform them of this in my claim under Additional Information?

Will I prejudgice my claim my specifiying a date on which I cannot attend?

Many thanks for the assistance.

The Assessment Provider for your postcode, not the DWP, will contact you in writing about any appointment for a face to face assessment.

If there are dates that you cannot make then include them in the Additional Information section, you won't harm your claim by doing so.

Our PIP Claim guide covers the assessment and lists the questions that you are likely to be asked.
