Partners evidence for my PIP claim. was created by LadyLuna
I have my PIP review in just under 2 weeks. My partner has offered to supply the assessor with a letter describing my conditions on a day to day level. He is also a Mental Health First Eiser and has assessed me as suffering from quite bad anxiety. Obviously living with me he sees more of these symptoms than anyone else.

I have finally got an appointment with my new Dr 4 days before the home visit f2f, so based on that I won't get any go involvement just yet.

Would you advise that my partner discusses my anxiety, as he knows the process of assessing someone, or would that be a step too far for a partner to write? Will they just assume he is writing it because he is my partner?

So stressed with all this at the moment. Keep bursting into tears.

I don't see any reason why your partner should not write a letter of support.

It needs to be a proper letter, name and address, and they also need to explain who they are and how often they see you.

Then your problems, remember they need to explain the problems that you have completing the PIP activities and that these need to be done reliably and on the majority of days.

Lastly, they need to attest that the information is correct and sign the letter.

I would also recommend that they include details of there credentials.
