Is this 'normal '?
Fed up waiting that's all.
Thanks again
Hi D,
I am afraid that there is no "normal" in the PIP Assessment process, it has slowed down considerably since New Year.
I would not say it was abnormal but would be most surprised if someone actually rang you back !
I am happy to be proven wrong though !

I started my PIP claim before Christmas. I had my home visit about 4 weeks ago
OH THE RELIEF !
If not for the guides and help and support available here I doubt i would have been successful.I also have an excellent supportive GP.
Thankfully the system has worked for me and the correct decision reached.A fair one. After reading all the horror stories I was convinced I would lose it all.
I must say that DWP did treat me kindly and with respect whenever I had dealings with them.
Thanks so much for the help everybody and very good luck to all of you.I will remain a paid up member here always.

well , I am awarded Enhanced rate for both components indefinitely . They have told me I will likely not be contacted for a certain number of years which I do not wish to reveal exactly on here but suffice to say it is a VERY long time ! When i look at the date on paper it looks utterly futuristic and crazy ! I rang them to confirm the date .
Again, i advise any person thinking of paying for a membership here ,do it ! The guides are priceless.
Thanks again to the advisers here and for all the support.Good luck folks and goodbye for now.

Hi D,
I gather that you were given "Ongoing" awards as the term "Indefinite" is not used for PIP Awards.
"Ongoing" PIP awards are the nearest equivalent to "Indefinite" DLA awards
