PIP to Attendance allowance

Appreciate some advice please. I currently receive PIP, enhanced rate for daily living needs and standard rate for Mobilty needs until June 30th 2020.
1) I am 65 in July 2018 so will Pip cease on reaching 65 or will it continue until 30/06/2020?
2)I assume that I can apply for attendance allowance on cessation of PIP (whatever date), is my assumption correct?

PIP can continue in payment as long as the claimant continues to meet the criteria for an award, even if this is after the age of 65.

If you did lose your award and were unable to overturn the Decision then you could claim Attendance Allowance.
