ESA - Severe Disability Premium?

Hello, I was just reading the latest Newsletter and saw mentioned the ESA - Severe Disability Premium. As I have no knowledge of this, I'm just wondering,
1) what it is?
2) what are the criteria?
I am on ESA (currently awaiting result of a review) but am also on PIP Enhanced for both care & mobility. I would be grateful to understand more about this.
