hi, can you please clarify if you need to use 2 hearing aids before the dwp will allow points for needs to use an aid or appliance. many thanks bb

Hi British bulldog.

No there is nothing to say, you have to have two hearing aids. They will consider the function a claimant has with one.

Just to add to the advice already given. This Descriptor about your total hearing, both ears, so if you only use one hearing aid then to score you would need to be profoundly deaf in the other ear.
