WAITING TIME FOR A REPLY was created by suemckenna
Hi - I sent my PIP claim form in June 2021 and have yet to have a reply of any type. Is this normal? I realise that there will have been a huge backlog. I have since sent in some updated information (ie a doctor's report, will all the relevant details at the top of the page) but have not had anything back to say they couldn't match it up with my form or anything like that so don't think my form has been lost. What are others experiencing with time lapse between claims and replies? I am in Yorkshire.

Hello,
Your full name seems to be showing, if you wish to change it, this tells you how.
I would say that 5 months is starting to become a long time to wait to hear, and it might be wise to give them a ring just to make sure that everything is in order.

Hi, I am also in Yorkshire, I think there may be a bit of a backlog here tobe honest
I sent my PIP2, well the CAB did, to the DWP in March and the first contact I had from them was towards the end of August when they sent me my time/date for my September phone assesment. So was about 5 months for me with no contact too
As Catherine says it may be worth giving them a call just to check everything is ok, but I suspect it's just there theres a bit of a backlog at the moment
