Never give up !

Hi all , In July this year i had a telephone assessment that i had requested for worsening conditions, i was on standard for both daily and mobility after attending a tribunal in December 2018 ,prior to this i had been on higher rate mobility from 2013 .
The telephone assessment came back with zero points.
Naturally with the help of invaluable advice from this forum and a very lengthy rebuttal letter with very limited up to date medical evidence my perseverance has resulted in an award of higher rate for both ! .
I do hope this gives anyone thinking of giving up the courage to try .

Thank you Bis, It took me almost a week to compile my response to the DWP as i am still grieving
the passing of my dearly loved Mother who incidentally died the day after that baseless telephone assessment ! Hence why i am encouraging others not to give up .

Dear Disailusioned, Just want to send my condolences on the loss of your dear Mother. And I love your description of the telephone assessment as 'baseless'. Pretty much sums up the experience of too many.

It's inspiring that your perseverance to pursue a MR proved successful. Very happy for you to have got the benefit that you are entitled to.
