Update on pip coc

So as you know I did a coc they received it on the 13th of September I enclosed the last 6 months worth of my medical records doctors appointments, mental health stuff, and a&e admission ( Iv had 26 a&e admissions this year ) 2 operations for self harming incidents. And the dwp on the 2nd of December sent it off to atos because they don’t have enough evidence to make a decision. Like what more do they want or does the case manager need to go back to school because they clearly cannot read!!!
Here we go again.
Sorry for the rant!!

Here’s another update turns out it wasn’t they didn’t have enough medical evidence apparently they didn’t have any up to date medical evidence…
Like 6 months worth of medical evidence I sent dated between March 2021 and august 2021 doesn’t count jeez you really couldn’t make it up could you.
So I rang atos and asked them to put on the system at my medical assessment whenever that may be because going from past experience I will be having one that it be recorded and we know atos tactics of saying they didn’t know it should be recorded but hey what’s another 6 months worth of waiting to actually have the evidence of what will be said instead of fabricated conversations lol.
On the plus side in a years time or more I’m sure it will all get sorted haha.

So as some of you may know the saga of my pip and coc…
Well Wednesday received the last months worth of paper work from pip ( sars request again. Apparently that’s the only way to find out the truth haha. Poor tree though haha. )
And I was angry then I was crying and then I was angry the joys of bpd haha.
So I did something practical and rang pip more to get my frustration and disappointment out so I could breathe again!!
The First Lady I spoke to she was okish ( I was nice and pre warned her it’s not going to be an easy phone call ) she then put me through to a cm/ dm from past experiences I was expecting the usual oh yeah we will look into that and I’ll speak to my line manager and I’ll call you back. ( I basically asked them to have someone else look at my form as I believed the first person couldn’t be arsed and just sent it off to atos ) I explained that pip have acknowledged my mh has deteriorated and 5 months for my claim to not been looked at properly has made mh that had already deteriorated make it deteriorate even more!!
He ( Matthew his name was ) did ring back and I was expecting nope you’ll still need to wait for an assessment snore!! But glad I was sitting down I spoke to my line manager and they have agreed to a different cm/dm to have a look at tomorrow morning ( Thursday) and they will probably need to call you just to ask a few questions then hopefully we should be able to make a decision…. I was thinking yeah yeah not going to call just another broken promise… ( he said due to the fact you sent in additional evidence rolls eyes it wasn’t additional I sent it with the form in august haha ) I didn’t say anything for once haha.
So this brings me onto yesterday ( Thursday) clock watching my phone as you do when someone promises to ring…
13.04 my phone rings and I’m like no way it can’t be can it surely not….
It’s only the pip ( nearly fainted)
The lady ( can’t remember her name but as she kept calling me lovely that’s now her name haha ) from the moment I picked the phone up she was so nice and understanding and basically lovely haha. Asked me a few questions ( poor woman probably needed therapy after speaking to me going into detail about my mh haha )
After about 10 mins said I have enough information and I’m looking to increase your award ( now I really am glad I was sitting down haha ) said she might need to call me back would that be ok and said it would be her calling ( if anyone knows about bpd that is a major problem when people call and you don’t know who it is proper makes you anxious) at this point I want to give her a New Years gong haha.
Anyway asked about bank details and hospital ( you know all that jazz ).
So when the call ended 14 minutes to be precise I then picked mysef up off the floor crawled to my fridge got a Coke crawled back to my sofa and then proceeded to cry ( as you do ) not because I was upset for once but because I felt that I had been listened to haha.
So just to re cap 5 months this has taken and apparently all it took was for me to have a mental breakdown on the phone and really tell them how it is to get somewhere ( like really ) haha
Now I’m sitting here secretly hoping the lady wasn’t blabbing rubbish and hopefully the end is in sight ( but who knows there maybe part 6 to the drama of me and pip ) haha
I shall be back with either further fainting or swearing in the next 7- 10 working days haha
