Review PIP was created by najtned
Am a B&W member of many years. Completed my PIP review and sent back before 13th July 2021, i had received previously a letter telling me my PIP extended to March 2022, I rung in September to be told its in the queue waiting to be assessed. Ive since heard nothing, should I call or just wait? I suffer really badly with mental health anxiety my MH support worker is helping me but I dont see or hear very much. Im so worried and scared about whats not happening I cant eat, sleep and feel in constant state of panic. Can anyone please help advise me where to go from here? Many thanks

Hi najtned
We have heard that there is a backlog, if you have not heard anything by January then contact PIP to see what is happening and inform them that your PIP has been extended to March but you are worried what will happen then.

Hi najtned,
I would put your worries at ease by emailing your MP and explain what you have said in your post.
I kick up the backside from someone who carries a bit of weight, namely your MP, should be enough for the DWP to at least grant you another extension or even fast forward your review.
Sitting there doing nothing is doing you no good so you need to action it when you feel able.
Regards,
Phrank.
