Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Judy, does he have a coach on Universal credit who can intervene, or is it possible for him to see another GP, maybe go with some print offs online about it?
I hope this gets resolved, really frustrated when professionals don't know about the benefits system, they are sometimes too busy in the health world.

Hi Judy,
A fit note is a Med3 or sick note, i think you must have spoken to a new member of staff or somebody having a bad day
I would phone them back and ask for Med 3 sick note

They've said they can't intervene, all they can do is give him more time to get a fit note.

Hi Judy,
Well that is the oddest thing I've ever heard from doctor's surgery. Are you sure there isn't a misunderstanding?
Surely the GP must have had patients in the past who were unfit to work.
Regards,
Phrank.

Hiya,
Yes i guess the staff member was having a bad Tory Johnson day, you know partygate n all lol. So decided to take it out of the poor disabled /sick claimant - patient.
Guess this will soon become the norm if it already hasn't.
Good luck to all.
