Mobility PIP was created by chafur47
Helping neighbour with her PIP review, over the phone. She asked me if she attempted to walk over 40 metres or so once in ten years would it affect high mobility award. She uses a wheelchair and has medical evidence as to why she was prescribed a wheelchair.

Hi chafur47
Your friend should be writing about her mobility the majority of the time. I don't know why she would even mention that she has walked that distance ever! Tell your friend not to overcomplicate things. If she writes something like that, it is likely to be misinterpreted by someone who doesn't know anything about her or her condition. This is not hiding information - this is talking about her condition as it is today and the majority of the time. One in ten years is not worth talking about.

Many thanks, I will relay this info to her. I don't suffer same health issues as her and had no idea what to say. I was afraid to cause her problems by giving wrong advice. We are both doing our Reviews trying to help each other!!
