I returned my PIP review back in Sept 2021, , not heard anything, called them a week after i sent it to make sure they had received it,, So far nothing , I have no idea if I will have to attend an assessment again or not , 5 months near on now
I submitted my PIP review form in early May 2021 and I’m still waiting to hear back from them. I have phoned multiple times and get the same response with DWP saying new claims come first, I explained my PIP ends in March 2022 and they advised it will continue until I have had an assessment, (when that will be who knows). It is so distressing having to wait 9 months and counting.
I am sorry that you have been waiting such a long time. I'm afraid what you have been told is true - they are prioritising new claims. Next time you ring, I would follow up with a letter to the DWP saying that you have been told that your money will continue even when your claim runs outs.
