PIP review question re Meds was created by Asbo
Hi
I have just got my second PIP review. The other was three years ago. I remember people asking questions whether it was best to just fill out minimally as in 'no change' if that's the case on descriptors or whether to fill it all out again. I remember the advice being that there was no pattern, that people had been awarded with no problem with minimal replies and others who'd filled out thoroughly had had there's queried, reduced, stopped etc and all permutations in between.
I filled out all in detail last time and had my mobility of twenty years stopped (I got it back at MR) but I'm so tired of doing this. I'm nearly 63. I'm inclined to go for a minimal approach this time, unless you advise to the contrary.
Your thoughts very welcome.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Asbo
As you say people have different approaches. We advise that you put in some information for each question even if there is no change. The advice of what you should say is in the PIP guide from page 128.

We can't tell you what you should do. It has to be your personal choice.

Many thanks.
I don't know why I called this 're Meds'!
But I just clicked on the link and cant tell if this is an old form I have. It has no date but PIP.1043 in the bottom righthand corner. I have been given an extension to fill out. I did ask if I could have an online form and the person on the phone said that I'd already been sent a paper one now although when I pressed him on the point he did say I could if I needed to but don't know whether the extension will still apply. Photocopying any evidence is the bit that makes paper forms really tedious.
Many thanks

Write as if to a complete idiot; explain what your conditions are, what your meds do etc. Don’t presume for a moment they have any medical knowledge. Also remember length of conditions/ prognosis etc. Good Luck.
