Universal Credit WCA

Hi everyone
This is my first post in this fantastic site , the advice is first class .
In September 2020 i completed my UC50 form and returned it , I never had my WCA until a year later [ September 2021 ] and this was done by phone . As of beginning of 2022 , I had still not heard anything either by letter or in my journal so i chased it up only to be told that UC would e mail my case manager , a week later i recieved a call stating that a decision would be made that very day and i would be notified via my journal

Its fair to say that my health has taken a massive downward spiral in the 18 months whilst i was awaiting an outcome , eg i have neuropathy , vitamin D deficiency and am experiencing several falls which i am now being referred to the falls clinic

My decision came back that i dont have LCW as im sure the decision was made on the basis of the 18 month old form , needless to say i have filled in and posted by recorded delivery the Mandatory Reconcideration form and am prepared to take it to appeal if i need to
Have any other members had this type of thing and if so , has there been any success , the timescale for waiting is outrageous and as a man of almost 62 , retirement is on the horizon
