PIP in Scotland (Adult Disability Payment)

My subscription is due to renew and I'm wondering if new guidance is going to be created that is Scotland specific?
The new version of PIP in Scotland (Adult Disability Payment) is due to go live in August this year and my PIP renewal is due early 2023. This means I'll have my reassessment under the new benefit system.
I'd like to continue to support the work of the site because it's been really helpful to me but I'm unsure if there will be anything that can actually help me on here as I undergo the reassessment process.
Many thanks and huge apologies of I've missed something completely obvious in my search!

I can't answer your question. I will flag it up to Steve and see what he says. Thanks for bringing it up.

This is what Steve says
At this stage our understanding is that there will be minimal differences between PIP and ADP, all of which we will flag up in our PIP guide. For example, the assessments will be carried out in-house and the criteria relating to terminal illness will change, But the points system for ADP will be identical to PIP, as will be the award rates.
The Scottish government has given an undertaking to start a review of ADP within a year and at that point, the points system and awards might begin to diverge.
So, for the present, our guides will still be relevant to Scottish claimants.
The other major difference is that Scottish claimants should have access to an advocacy service to help with claims. If that proves effective then it may be that our services will be happily redundant and there will be no point in our covering a diverging ADP, but that is a decision for the future.
So, for the present, we will continue to provide PIP/ADP information that is of value throughout the UK.
Hope this answers your question
