Hi guys, Due to a hip operation i had many years ago, I am unable to stand for very long or sit in the conventional way of sitting i.e upright. I always sit leaned over to my right side, to avoid putting pressure and pain onto my left hip. What is 'sitting' defined as in legalisation in ESA for descriptor 2? If i could only sit leaned over to the side, would it be accepted descriptor 2 applies to me? Although i can remain seated for a hour or more, would my style of sitting be classed as 'sitting' in legalisation?
It is hard to answer your question as I do not know you and how you condition affects you.
I am not aware of a legal definition of sitting.
Question two Sitting and Standing is looking at working at a work station; If you are unable to sit in an adjustable chair then you may come under 2B(ii)
