Hi Eric
You might still want to ring for the assessment report (PA4) even though they wouldn't give it to you last time. Don't let anyone fob you off it you want it, by saying that you have to wait until the decision comes out. It's not true - as Gary has said you can have it after 48 hours.

Hi Eric
You have your decision letter, but have you got your assessment report? It is the PA4 that will give you more reasoning behind the decision. It is impossible for us to say whether you should put in for a mandatory reconsideration because we're not assessors nor do we have knowledge of your medical condition and the impact it has on you. If you know exactly what they said and they have ignored evidence of the deterioration in your condition and you want to challenge their decision - go for it.

Hi Eric, in my opinion [just a member not a Mod] the "slight change" rubbish when your dose was doubled, is typical of their self-justifying twisting of the facts. It's very similar to bits of our daughter's last report.
BIS did suggest over 3 weeks ago it would be worth while to request the PA4 assessment report. It really is a must to get these as soon as you can, for the benefit of other readers. Poor you Eric, as you now have to go through an MR at least if you want to challenge it .
However anyone finding this sort of rubbish upon getting their PA4 before, that's before! the decision can write in quickly to correct the assessor's untruths. It worked for our daughter so I do encourage everyone: get your PA4, go through it, write ASAP to icily correct all that is significantly wrong.
Best wishes with your decision and hopefully MR success,
Denby
