I was awarded PIP by a tribunal for 5years, due to end AUGUST 2022. I need to send a review form back now, but I only want to claim until my end date. My conditions remain the same and having had to go to two tribunals before I know I'm not well enough to do another one. How do I write on my form that I wish to claim until my end date? As my current claim was given by a tribunal and had all the required evidence, will that really need to be repeated to be paid the remaining six months? I'm a bit confused on giving evidence again for something I've already been awarded.
Also is there a cut off date to raise a LEAP review with DWP? As I didn't want to rock the boat until the end of my current claim.
Unfortunately you cannot choose your end date, the question I would ask is why do you only want to claim until your tribunal end date if your condition has not changed?
What you need to do is complete the review form using the details of your old form, as your condition has not changed and include a copy of the Tribunal decision.
At present there is a backlog with reviews so by the time it comes for an assessment it will more than likely be August, but we have heard from some members of their assessment being very quick.
I am not aware of any cut off period for the LEAP review.
