Too late to make a claim for PIP? was created by Caron
I reach state pension age in July. Have I left it too late to make a claim for PIP?

Hi Caron,
Simple answer no, not if you make the claim now!

Hi. State Pension age is the cut off point. Apply now and challenge if you are refused. Back up everything you say with medical evidence (including your GP notes). Get a support letter if you can. Good Luck! As soon as you phone up a 28 day ‘count down clock’ begins. Start gathering your evidence immediately. The forms can take 10 days to arrive.
