Due ESA Assessment April was created by Paulie
I was put into SG Beginning 2021 till early April 2022. Not had any Re-assessment forms thru, as yet. Could it be that they have
extended end date. I don't want to call them. Should I just sit tight and hope they keep paying me ? My understanding is forms
Are usually sent out 8 weeks before end date ? Not had them, as yet.

Hi Paulie
If you don't want to phone them then you will have to sit and wait. The DWP has a backlog for most benefits so it is not surprising that you are yet to hear anything. It would be unusual for them just to stop your benefit without warning.

Hi Paulie
ESA is an indefinite award with scheduled reassessment so there will be no end date or award length on the Decision Letter, if you have the assessment report then the "prognosis" is used to set the date.
Your award will not end until you have been reassessed and found fit for work or placed in WRAG.

Hi,
I'm going to sleep on it and wait for them to contact me. Dubious about calling them in case it triggers an assessment. I'll post on forum when they contact me. I should of received a form mid to late Feb. It does appear as tho they're sluggish.

Had to call them about a letter I'd received from them to do with a pension payment. I took the bull by the horns and asked them if SG time had been extended. They said until 2024. That's taken a great worry away. Using info given on here to do PIP mand. recon. & on to Tribunal if needs be. Thanks.
