ESA Capital Disregards

Where benefits have been underpaid because of:

* an official error
* an error on point of law

Any payments over £5,000 can be disregarded for the length of the claim or until the award ends".

Example:-
If I have an ESA review in March, because my existing award ends on 30th September; and it is decided that I am again awarded another 3 years.

For the purpose of Capital Disregards of over 5,000 stated above:-

Does this mean, that the error arrears payment is only disregarded until 30th September or is it "indefinitely" because my ESA benefit continues?
