You don't have to phone, but just be aware that when it is signed for - it just means it has arrived at the destination. It doesn't mean it has been uploaded to the system. Sometimes claimants wonder why there has been no progress with their claim and this can be one of the reasons.

Even though you have proof that DWP have received it, it is always a good idea to contact DWP as quite often it is sitting there waiting to be actioned, your phone call will hopefully put your claim in the system sooner.
