PIP change of circumstance was created by daisycat22
I posted off my PIP form a month ago for a change in circumstance.

I just called to see if they had received it and was told it was with a case manager and they will decide if I need a review or not.

I thought the case mangers only looked at it after your assessment?

Can anyone advise please?

Hi daisycat22,
I think there is a 2 stage process. If the disabilities you have are very obvious, and it is equally obvious that you can't do some/all PIP activities then DWP should decide to make the decision without the need for an assessment examination. The initial case management is therefore likely to see if you need an assessment or other information is required. It is possible of course that DWP have already decided you don't need an a face to face examination and are actually in the process if making their decision.
Fingers crossed.
