Hi daisycat22, I think there is a 2 stage process. If the disabilities you have are very obvious, and it is equally obvious that you can't do some/all PIP activities then DWP should decide to make the decision without the need for an assessment examination. The initial case management is therefore likely to see if you need an assessment or other information is required. It is possible of course that DWP have already decided you don't need an a face to face examination and are actually in the process if making their decision. Fingers crossed. LL26
