I am on IR JSA. I receive extra money because I am disabled, extra money because I am severely disabled and extra money because of the Disability Income Guarantee.
When I asked about ESA I meant the New Style ESA.
I hope to see my welfare advisor again at some point. It is difficult to access the local welfare advice service at the moment.

Hi Archway
I was not aware claimants were still claiming IB JSA, I thought IB claimants had been asked to move over to UC as I have not come across a IB JSA claimant in quite a while. In fact I cannot remember when I last came across a IB JSA claimant, apart from yourself.

I was told more than a year ago that I would have to move over to UC at some point. But I have not been told to change anything yet. Maybe COVID delayed the process.

Hi Archway
If you are happy where you are and better off there is no reason to rock the boat.
I have seen discussions this week by DWP about moving claimants off legacy benefits on to UC, you will soon be seeing publications, still not sure how it will roll out, whether they go by post code or by legacy benefits starting with IS then Tax Credits?
