Address for PIP change of circumstances evidence was created by Carlota
Hello, I sent my review form in last October and they still havnt got around to reviewing my pip. But since sending the form in , my daily life has worsened.
I did ring them last week over the phone and talked to a lovely lady about what has become worse , she said she has made a note on the system but I feel that a “note” won’t be enough to support what I’m trying to explain to them.
I had to take pip to tribunal in the first place (3 years ago) because they felt that my Asperger’s , ADHD, depression and anxiety didn’t effect my daily life enough to warrant paying me anything at all !!! It dragged on for 12 months by the time the tribunal actually granted the claim in my favour. It was horrendous and so stressful . I want to send them supporting eveidence from my docter to support my change in circumstances and to support the fact that my daily life has got more difficult . Is there an address I can send this to ? And is there any guides on “change in circumstances “ so I can make my supporting statement bullet proof ???

Hi Carlota
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is.
Welcome to Benefits and Work
From your post I assume that you have not yet had an assessment, when you have your assessment you can explain to the assessor how your condition affects you, remember your condition that is taken into account is from when you have an assessment unless you have a paper assessment.
You can send any extra supporting documents to the address you sent in your form, make sure that you add your name and NINO on each supporting document you send in.
If you report a Change then you should do so in writing as the date of your letter will be used to set the start date of any new award, Ideally, send it using a Track'd post so that you have proof of delivery.
Before you report a Change you should be certain that you would reasonably qualify for a higher award, not all deterioration or even new conditions will result in your scoring the points you need for a higher award. See our PIP Claims guide for the criteria that you will need to make. www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip
If you report a Change then you will be sent a new PIP2 to complete and it is almost certain that you will be required to have some sort of assessment.

I’ve been on pip for 3 years. I had an assessment when I first applied . Like I mentioned , my conditions have got worse so I’m not sure what address to send my eveidence to ? I have recently received a letter about my pip award being increased - would the address be on that letter do you think??

Hi Carlotta,
There are various PIP offices. From what I can gather each one covers a different area of the country. The PIP letters that you actually get should all come from your area address, so just use the address from a previous PIP letter sent to you.
Just to expand on what Gary said. Just because your health has become worse, you may not be eligible for more PIP. So an obvious example is if you were entitled to 4 pts for moving around - you previously could walk 150m - now your leg pain has increased, you can now only manage 60m. Whilst in the real world your walking ability is much less than what it used to be - you still fit within the 50m-200m bracket. Still 4 points.
Similarly if you had difficulties dressing your lower body because you struggled to bend, and now bending is much more difficult, you will still only get 2 points for needing help with lower body clothing.
You need to look at the impairment of function - has that changed, for example, not only has bending become more difficult, but you are now struggling to lift your hand up to shoulder level? - thus you might now be eligible for 4 points because you need assistance for upper body clothing. (The higher points value should always be awarded when 2 or more descriptors from the same section apply equally.)
I hope this helps.
