Welcome to Benefits and Work In answer to your question, as you are in receipt of CB ESA and not IR ESA then your husbands army pension will not affect your CB ESA.
Unlike means-tested benefits, there is no income and savings test for contributory ESA. If on the otherhand you received a private/company pension/permanent health insurance payment, your contributory ESA would be reduced by half the amount of any pension or permanent health insurance payment you received in excess of £85.
