Hi I was on DLA moved to PIP and did not get an award even after appeal, how long do you have to wait until you can apply again I recently have been diagnosed with a different condition that effects me and on top of my previous condition I am struggling or do I start a new application ?

Many thanks

HI Jedted,
There is no waiting time to reapply for PIP as long as there is no award in payment.
I am sorry that you got refused after appealing . If you decide to put in a new claim fill in the form and tell them in detail how you cope with daily tasks , tell them any aids or help you need to complete daily tasks .
send in all the medical evidence you have from your past conditions and your new diagnosed condition.
You could start a daily diary and write down how you get through each day , write down any pain you have, what help you needed, write down if doing the task makes you tired and how you felt, you could do this over a few days and send the diary in to pip with your evidence, might help as they can see then how much you struggle to complete daily tasks.
Ask family and friends if they would do a letter of support to support your claim.
When you fill in the form any extra sheets of paper , add your name and national insurance number on every piece of paper and your medical evidence
Kind regards
katherine
