I sent Uc50 form in mid Nov 2021, I have heard nothing yet. I agreed to have help from Shaw Trust via jobcentre, however my mental health has worsened to point I have rang samaritans twice in last week. I also rang jobcentre to let them know that my condition has worsened and I have been feeling suicidal, when he said to me sarcastically 'is it because of your work commitments' I said u have to be f***ing kidding me and he said because you have sworn at me Im putting the phone down. The only work commitment I have is to be in touch with shaw trust. They find it difficult to help as because of the severe sexual abuse I had in chdhood I need specialised therapy which they can't provide. I have had 2 bad advisors there that have affected my mental health so they put me back to someone who understands me, however my point is I feel like I've had a breakdown, I know I should be in the support group. I was in Support group back in 2011 for 5 years after a major breakdown and under the care of. Psychiatrist. Please can you advise what I should do.

Hi Karen

I am sorry that your condition has deteriorated. The most important thing is that you keep yourself safe. Is your advisor at the Shaw Trust able to make contact with the JobCentre on your behalf? If they are not, I don't know whether you are able to get an updated letter from your GP on your condition so you can send this in. I can understand why you swore while speaking to the advisor - but they took it you were swearing at them - and you don't want that to happen again. ESA/UC do have a backlog of cases at the moment and they are making new cases a priority, so that may explain why you are yet to have an assessment.
