I have just had a telephone assessment Review for PIP. 3 hours 3 minutes and 27 seconds it took. At 3 hours the assessor said she needed to speak to a Manager because there were still points to cover. When I asked what they were :Education, employment and 3 more points. I lost my patience totally. At 65 years old why was my Education needing such scrutiny- it was worse than an ESA assessment by far. My head is well and truly battered.
I am sorry to hear about your assessment. That is certainly much longer than you would expect, but then to be told it is not complete is appalling. You might want to put in an official complaint when the process is complete. It sounds as if you've been landed with an assessor who doesn't know what they're doing. When the process is complete - please make sure you ring after 48 hours to get a copy of the assessment report (PA4). It will be interesting to see how much of the three-hour conversation has been noted accurately. Did you record it yourself or request the assessment to be recorded? If you didn't - put in a request for the second part to be recorded.
