We have just been contacted by the DWP with their decision to repay £34,000 due to my WIFE'S receipt of Personal Health Insurance, through a group Income Protection scheme. The review seemed to be triggered by the cover from the GIP coming to an end on my Wife's 60th birthday when her employment and the PHI came to an end. Their assessment dates back to 2015 although my wife has been on disability benefits since 1991. When their assessment began in the middle of last yearI think I read on here about changes in 2018 that picked up (and considered) GIP schemes for people still under their contract of employment. Is this correct, should we challenge and should we get professional advice representation before we do? Duncan
