Hi dinkmack
Not a problem, it does happen quite often.

Hi,
I've had a decision about my leap review. They said I'm not entitled to it but it won't affect my current PIP award.
I was awarded standard mobility in July 2020 and my condition has been the same since 2016.
Is the MR process exactly the same for the leap review? Also will it affect my current PIP award if I go to tribunal?
Are there things that I should include with my MR which could help? Any advice will be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi dinkmack
The MR process is the same, you need to be aware of time limits to apply for a MR.
It should not affect your current claim as you are appealing the Leap decision.
You need to emphasise that your condition has not changed since your claim in 2016, if you have medical evidence from both periods showing this I would add it as supporting evidence.

Thanks for your reply Gary.
I haven't got any medical evidence to support overwhelming psychological distress. My medical records mention anxiety and palpations but I doubt that will help.
Is there anything else that could help? Maybe a letter from my partner describing the support she had to give me?
The letter mentioned that the decision was also based on my PIP forms.
My older PIP forms were poorly written and I didn't describe my mental health properly.
Could I mention that or would it not make a difference?
Thanks for your help.

Hi dinkmack
You need to remember that when looking at the leap review, they look at how you were then not how you are now, which was why I asked if you have any supporting docs to compare to show your condition then is the same as it is now.
