Hello I am new here and extremely anxious and unprepared. I re ieved a letter 2 weeks ago , a year earlier than in my original review letter, saying I had 3 and a half weeks to do the form. I am recovering from covid, and as we know, it all takes preparation and preparing. Thinking I had a whole year yet , I wasn't prepared. After many phone calls, and jokes made about" oh its better to do today, what you can do tomorrow" I was told they would send old review, which I haven't got yet. ( 6 days ago) but the day after last phonecard, relieved another letter saying it was again April 2023 . I was so relieved. But I phoned ro check, and they said oh they get sent out random. I feel something is not right. Can they do this and put it forward a year. Thankyou. I'm so anxious.
PIP review forms can be sent out anything up to 12 months before the award end date. This is to give the DWP plenty of time to process forms. It is offputting to claimants as people think that they will be sent a form just before the end date - but that is not the case. So I'm sorry this has happened to you and understand why you feel so anxious but this has been the practice since PIP was first introduced.
