Hi UC: Universal Compassion!
8 weeks is normal for a decision to be made.
I would contact DWP and ask for a copy of the assessors report called a PA4, when you get the report go through it with a highlighter and highlight anything that is incorrect.
If you are quick you can write to the decision maker pointing out any errors in the report before a decision has been made.

I feel that my real issue is the timeline from telephone assessment to DWP receiving report!
I will call DWP tomorrow to request copy of PA4.

Update - 2 weeks after IAS told me I was being audited (only after I rang them)
I got a text from the DWP to say I had been awarded PIP.
A phone call confirmed - standard Daily Living and standard Mobility!
So the process from PIP medical to decision took 5 weeks in my case.
This is just to give hope to anyone having their decision delayed by
the IAS audit process.
