Would the team be able to explain the new one off benefits we will be getting ? When it says people with disabilities does that only mean PIP or also those on support group ESA ? Also when it says "per household" does it mean this will be split ? I live with my elderly parents (I am an adult though) and at the moment they get carer benefits for my dads heart disease while he awaits an operation, where-as I have long term support group ESA, I don't get housing benefits or any other benefits apart from ESA support group income related. I realise the energy payments will go straight to the bill payer of the house, but I mean the other benefits I mentioned. Also it says the £650 will be paid in 2 stages, I presume that means half one month and half later in the year ?

Thanks for any advice.

Hi Benson

Your question is outside the remit of the forum.

Not all disabled people claim PIP or ESA, so it will be interesting how they distinguish a disability and how they pay per household.

I would keep an eye out for B&W newsletter for more information. apart from hearing a brief message on tonights news I am no wiser.
