Hi I have recently been awarded PIP Daily Living at the standard rate but nothing for Mobility. I am worried about requesting a Mandatory Reconsideration as I cannot afford to lose the claim. I have 2 disabilities that form my claim: The first is a compressed nerve in my neck which causes significant pain all of the time and has now resulted in limited use of my right arm. This seemed to come about following a bilateral mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. The second is I suffer from PTSD, anxiety, depression and agrophobia. This condition id debilitating, it prevents me from leaving the house and I am reliant on others to collect food etc for me. This has been since 2020 when i was subjected to the most horrific attack whilst out walking my dogs. Myself and a friend were chased and attacked by a man with a knife. The man was later convicted and sentenced to life in prison. So my PIP award is 10 points for Daily Living and 0 for mobility. My question is should or could I be awarded a mobility based on the fact that I am unable to leave the house? And could the 4 points awarded on my daily living for “mixing with other people” be increased because this is something that I am unable to do full stop due to my PTSD? Many thanks in advance
