Reapply for PIP was created by kah22
Some months back my nephew applied for pip (he has had a broken neck since childhood) he was turned down and was afraid to appeal the decision
He has been encouraged to make a new application, can he do that and how long since his initial application or been turned down does he have to wait.
I do most of the wording for him as in his childhood he lost long periods of schooling

Hi Kah22

Yes, he can put in for another claim. However, I would encourage you to get hold of the PA4 assessment report - if he had a telephone assessment - if you don't already have it. It's good to know exactly why he was turned down, or it might happen again. Do have a good look at the guide so you're up-to-date with the best way to answer questions.
