Do I need a sick note whilst waiting for the ESA form? was created by DellyT2022

Hi,

Will I need a sick note whilst waiting to receive the ESA large form AND whilst waiting for their decision?

I have mental health issues and don’t know if my doctor will even be willing to write a number of sick notes to cover months of waiting for their decision :/

The short answer is yes

You need to keep providing 'fit note' until your workcoach say they are no longer needed.

If you fail to provide a 'fit note' you run the risk of your claim being cancelled.
