Are you able to type?
I’m currently dealing with my husband’s PIP Review and it’s heavy going because he had Parkinson’s and there have been changes that affect every activity. It’s also a complex condition that requires explanation and I’ve spent a long time in that.
I mention typing because being able to cut and paste certain paragraphs has been immensely helpful. I hand wrote his PIP application and it took ages.
I’m also referring to the photocopy I took of his original application in drafting my answers, using it to describe the changes he’s experienced. Again, the ability to tweak, change and insert answers is a huge timesaver.
I’m not leaving any part of the pamphlet blank but am using it to write the most important information and then clearly stating that the answer continues in additional pages. I’ve created a contents page too.
Wishing you the very best

i have a photocopy of the 2016 application which would help, but if i have to write all that out again it would take me a couple of weeks easily, i also wrote 4 or 5 pages extra to explain everything thoroughly, i would write a covering letter with the review so they will have a better view of my illnesses and conditions, which are quite complex in some areas, anyway should i trust this advice or do you have a better suggestion? thanks in advance

Hi freefee
Yes, it's perfectly okay for you to write your answers - plenty of people do this.

Hi freefee
Yes it would be ok to handwrite your answer, remember they do ask for handwritten answers to be in capital letters as it makes it easier for them to read the answers.
