Can outcome of Ill health retirement letter be evidence for pip was created by Audrey
Hi, I’ve been accepted for ill health pension, and will be dismissed from my job. I have a telephone pip review assessment coming up soon. I’m wanting some advice as to whether i can send the pension medical advisor letter i received as acceptance for the retirement to the pip as evidence, before the assessment .just wondering if its worth sending as it gives reasons why they believe im not fit to do the job.

Hi Audrey
You can send a copy of the letter to the DWP to be added to your PIP records. Remember that PIP is not about your ability to work, so although the evidence is good to have, the information also needs to be relevant to the PIP criteria. If it doesn't get added on time to your records you can always mention at your assessment that you sent it in and what it says.

Will you please help and tell me how you get the ill health retirement. I try to do so but my company send me to insurance policy and send me back to company manager and haven't any information what should I do. Thanks

Hi @anees292,
You need to contact the pension company that you pay each month. HR should be able to provide you with the information you need or your bosses secretary?
Once you have the contact information for the pension company, you should ask them how to go about claiming ill health retirement.
