PIP - medical and care professionals

Hello,

I'm just wondering who to include on my list of medical and care professionals on my PIP form.

I'll be including my GP and the two consultants whose care I am actively under.

Should I also include the counsellor who I am seeing privately, or would they be disregarded because they aren't via the NHS? They are BACS and BPS registered, so have plenty of official letters after their name. I'll be including a letter of support from them regardless that illustrates some of the ways my conditions affect me, as discussed in our sessions.

Thanks BIS. The letter wasn't actually paid for, though I don't suppose that matters. It seems a bit cracked that they'd disregard the account of someone who is ethically bound by the professional bodies they are a member of regardless of whether it's through the NHS or not - just repeating whatever a paying client asks them to would fall outside those professional standards.
