Hi guys, after been on pip, both parts at standard, i let DWP know that my mobility has got work
I filled out another form they sent out and sent it back to them

They took me off daily living because they said I didn’t need it, even though I had been getting it for 5 years, I was on 11 points for the past 5 years they put me down to 6 points

I asked for a MD, the result was, my points for daily living had gone from 6 to 7
I have now started a tribunal hearing, I have explained why I think it’s wrong, not forgetting I have been on standard daily living for 5 years and, I didn’t contact them about daily living just my mobility

My appeal has been lodged with the DWP and the have till July 29th to respond can they look at it again before then, and change it back to the standard award that I was on for the past 5 years, do they phone you if they do change it back

I am sticking with the mobility award and the reasons why it has changed, so will continue with the tribunal for that if I have to

I was just curious if they could change their mind before the tribunal

I first contacted them in September 2021 about this but continued to get the standard award, then in March they stopped it because they had put my points down to 6

At the end of the first page they had wrote we pay up to March with the daily living, because I would not of known up till then that I don’t qualify to get it, so they are saying up until then I didn’t know I was struggling with lots of help……ridiculous

Thank you

Hi Caz1

The first question I would ask you is ..... have you asked DWP for a copy of the assessors report called a PA4?

If you do not have a copy then ring DWP and request a copy.

If you have appealed the decision then you will get a copy in the bundle of documents, it is important to go through the report with a highlighter highlighting any inaccuracies between what is written and what was said at the assessment, if you recorded the assessment then again try and match what was said to what was written.

In answer to your question, yes DWP can contact you at any time and make an offer before the Tribunal.
